Kejie Health Foundation

Kejie Health Foundation is a non – profit, non-partisan, non-religious, non – governmental organization (NGO). The organization started in 2005 as a support group of people living with HIV.

The organization is also into improving the livelihood of vulnerable households through communication, information, meetings, skill building and empowerment programs. The organization became a community-based organization and later registered with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) as an NGO with presence in Calabar municipality, Bekwarra, Yala, Ogoja and Boki Local Government Areas of Cross River State and Kwande, Ushongo, and Vandeikya Local Government Areas of Benue State.

The organization is committed to sensitizing, educating and creating awareness on issues that affect women, youth and children in Nigeria.

Caritas Gboko

Caritas Gboko is a social pastoral non-profit making faith based organization of the Catholic Diocese of Gboko. The organization was established in 2013 after the creation of Gboko and Katsina-Ala dioceses out of Old Makurdi Diocese.
The organization vision is to promote a society where justice and peace are enthroned. Its mission is driven by the Catholic Social Teaching and other global instruments for sustainable peace and development. In achieving its vision, the organization works in the following thematic areas, Environment and Food Security, Emergency Response and Peacebuilding, Health, Governance, Youth and Women Empowerment, Economic Integration and Livelihood Opportunities, and Prison Apostolate. Caritas work in the 7 Local Governments of Buruku, Gboko, Konshisha, Kwande, Ushongu, Tarka and Vandeikya LGAs that Catholic Diocese of Gboko stretches across the mainland of Tiv nation. The organization is duly registered by the local and national government bodies. Its governance structure is headed by His Excellency, Most Revd. William AVENYA (Bishop of Gboko Diocese).

Justice, Development, and Peace Commission (JDPC) Makurdi

Justice, Development, and Peace Commission (JDPC) Makurdi was established in 1977, but changed its name to Foundation for Justice Development and Peace’ (FJDP Makurdi) in 2013 after 36 years of impactful interventions. It is headed by a coordinator who is a priest and a management team comprised of lay women and men of various disciplines. JDPCs vision is: Equitable society that recognizes protects and promotes the totality of the dignity of human person. The Commissions thematic areas include the following:
• Human rights, Youth Development,
• Agricultural Development
• Gender/Women Empowerment
• Peace Building and Conflict Management
• Emergency Response/ Preparedness
• Good Governance
• Water and Sanitation
• Poverty Reduction

The Justice, Development, Peace and Caritas, Otukpo

The Justice, Development, Peace and Caritas commission is a faith based organization. It was established in 1997 by the Catholic Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Otukpo. Inspired by the teaching of Jesus Christ, the commission work assiduously with other stakeholders to advocate and champion for social systems and structures that will foster the reign of justice, love and peace where the dignity and rights of the human person are upheld, option for the poor a priority and ideals of self-reliance and transparency are promoted for accelerated integral development of the human person. The Commission works in the following thematic areas: Peace Building and conflict transformation, Human Right, Good Governance, Rural Agriculture and Economic Strengthening and water and sanitation The Commission is headed by a Coordinator that is duly appointed by the Diocesan Bishop. The Coordinator reports to the Board of Directors whose members are appointed by the Bishop

Justice, Development and Peace Commission, Katsina-Ala

Justice, Development and Peace Commission, Katsina-Ala is a faith based organization duly registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission. It is a department in the Catholic church established by the Catholic Bishop of Katsina-Ala Diocese in 2014. The Commission aims to build a society where dignity of human persons is promoted in totality. JDPC Katsina-Ala is into Conflict Resolution, Peace Building, Promotion of Human Rights, Household and Community Economic Strengthening, Good Governance, Rural Agriculture, and Catholic Social Teaching through enlightenment and capacity building of stakeholders. The Commission is headed by a Coordinator who is appointed by the Catholic Bishop of Katsina-Ala. The commission has Board of Directors chaired by the Bishop.

Benue State Agricultural and Rural Development Authority

The Benue State Agricultural and Rural Development Authority (BNARDA) promote increased agricultural production in the State; and raise the income and standard of living of farmers; focus on agricultural potentials in effectively utilizing intensive programmes of on - farm adaptive research; develop an effective unified Training and visit agricultural extension system in the state (BNARDA, 1986); establish and operate a workable input procurement and distribution system capable of serving farmers at the right time, and provide rural infrastructure for sustained development (BNARD Extension Bulletin, 1986).
